Civil Engineering is a engineering stream that is concerned with designing, planning, building and maintenance of the creative marvels to your home. Civil engineering field of work comprises of industrial plant buildings, water works, river navigation, airports, tall buildings,  transmission towers/lines,  power plants, canals, traffic control, dams, shipping canals, bridges, rail-roads, sewers and highways. It is one of the oldest engineering discipline and the largest area of engineering. A candidate, who specializes in this field, becomes known as a civil engineers. A civil engineer requires not only a high standard of engineering knowledge but also supervisory and administrative skills. Civil engineers work in teams or in coordination with many other engineers.

REQUIREMENTS

> Minimum 45 percent aggregate marks in 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics (compulsory) and any one of the following subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Electronics.
> You can either get a seat for BE/BTECH through competitive examination like JEE and ComedK or through the direct admission route.
